I haven't quit yet either- I was out on Sunday for a bit. I am real glad I put a windjammer with lowers on my bike- I can ride in town any day the roads are dry and the bike will start!

I will cheat and take the Wing on Monday...so if you see me give me a wave and the secret SOHC sign.

I trust you all will attach a pic of your ride on Monday. I am going to try to get my wife to wear her Wing riding clothes but I think she will fight me on that one.

42º in late December in Wisconsin is like summer!
We have not had any snow yet in southeast Wisconsin so no salt on the roads.
Sounds like riding weather to me...

As promised, here are my pics of the ride today Dec. 26th in WI. I have 44 degrees, but there is a wicked wind which has broken up all the ice on Lake Winnebago. The ice shanties in the first pic are on a secluded bay, but way to thin for a car. No snow or ice on the roads or grass. All is dry. January is approaching fast and who knows what that will bring. Usually snow and very cold, but we shall see. Anyone else get out today? Happy New Years guys!!!

Here's mine... 12/26/2011
I actually got out Christmas day for a quick blast and back out today for a little longer blast (30 miles).
The real strong wind out of the south was interesting but made the northbound part FAST!
As you can see, I was dressed for success. Lots of thumbs up both days!

It barely hit 40º but I was determined.

Seen his bike in person. The web doesn't do it justice. Very very vlean and well assembled. It was to windy here to go for a ride IMO. Hate fighting the heavy cross winds.

Six...This is the 2000 SE and no heated hand grips or seat came with the bike. I think that stuff was available on the 1800's. So I did not plug anything in. Just added some insulated pants and I was good to go. You are much more worthy...you did not have the fairing so you get the Winter Rider trophy today Six. It was nice to get out for sure.

not to long ago my buddy and i did a trek. It was nice out during the day but once the sun was setting I froze my ass off. it wasnt even fun. I had no cold weather gear on. I looked like the guy from dumb and dumber with snot all over his face.

I left work a little early today and got the 78F out for a ride around Madison. It was a blast.
Lots of funny looks from people but I didnt care.

Once I got home, I wiped it all down to get ride of all the salt dust from the roads. It was worth the extra work of cleaning.

I was hoping for 40's in Illinois on new years day so I could ride my 750 to the Hangover fest at Cordova Dragway. 25 for a high is a bit too cool though.
