Quote from: mjstone on January 08, 2012, 03:49:02 PMThere were a couple of differences, but any Windjammer and Vindicator would use the same mounting bracket and the same lowers. The brackets and lowers were what was bike specific. The exception was the Windjammer V, it used different lowers and maybe brackets as well. The Windjammer III (what I have) was the first using ABS plastic instead of fiberglass ( I think). The Windjammer SS and Windjammer IV had built in turn signals called Leading Edge Lights. They also had an adjustment knob on the dash for the headlight up/down position to make it easy to adjust the headlight for different loads on the bike. The Vindicator was just like the SS/IV but without the built in turn signals. You mounted your original turn signals and stalks on them just like the Windjammer III.Hope this helps.MJleave him alone ! thanks mj that helps alot . ive just seen one on ebay , i may have a worse confession in a couple of days .

No, that's not even a Vetter Fairing.

Interesting stuff. ttI belive thats a "batwing" fairing. Seen a few on harlys.
I'm curious too, I also have one...but no mounting brackets, is that one fork mounted?
thanks for the pics Toytuff...that's a cb350 right?, kinda funny... my Batwing fairing came with a cb360 I used to have...wish I kept the 360 instead of that dang fairing...
HA HA, I did it. Bought a nice windjammer ss at the swap meet. I got a set of 750 lowers too. The bracket is for a 550 so I'm looking to trade for a 750 bracket. We also got a set of vetter bags with 750 brackets
Does anyone have one of these? Vetter Hippo Hands. They looks sooo cozy.
Why would you put a big fugly Vetter fairing on a BMW? BMW built the best fairings on the planet when that bike rolled off the showroom floor? Must be an American thing..............

Craig Vetter sure sold a bunch of merchandise back in the 70s.Terry, since you are the Spelling Police you need to the title of this thread corrected ...Larry
