early 70's I took my old 750 honda to the Morgan one mile speedway ( dirt of course), stripped it down , 1 gallon Castrol oil can for fuel tank , took off the seat, front guard, main stand, mirrors headlight and tailight , put on a 4 to 1 exhaust, put on a pair of trials type tyres, you get the picture !
I done one 3 lap practice session and pulled out of the event, and 40 years later I still go to wipe my ar#se every time I think about it. Man she was not happy, no matter what I done it just went into massive tank slappers and on the mile it was toooo fast for me, Seemed like a good idea at the time
