can the odometer be fiddled with on honda fours? (350F)

bit sus on mine and wonder if they can be would backwards or pulled apart and changed?

Buy one that is for sale and put my mileage on it.

remove the tach cable and lift it from the chrome housing.
check the trim ring for cut or pry marks.
