Thought about ordering some Shinkos too, heard they use old Yokohama molds?

A set of tires here for $92 shipped, can't beat that price.

Steve, its not the mold that matters, its the compounds, but i'm sure you already know that... ;)

This is the second time reading this.First time was Wow! they look good. This time I'm looking at the front wheel to compare. Remembered I had a wheel that came on a Chopper way back when.
Mine says Japan and looks like yours, but I don't see Lester on it anywhere.

my Hayashi's say Hayashi Racing and Street Wheels in addition to Made in Japan...guess that makes 'em pretty easy to identify....they do look quite similar to Lesters though, also different number of spokes...
If it works good, it looks good...

 Ebay. This is the seller:
http://myworld.ebay.com/zurucucu&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SELLERID&_trksid=p3984.m1543.l2533

Just watch his auctions and he lists that seat from time to time.

aww, damn, those look nice!  Just missed out on a front Lester for 100 bucks but a few minutes.

Scott, I'm in the process of looking for new tires, any particular reason why you chose the Shinko's over Avon Roadriders or Mezlter lasers?  I love that price!  50 dollars cheaper than the Avon's I was looking at.

Well, I hate you.   ;D ;D

I too found a set of 750 lesters for a stupid good price  and was *going* to be satisfied with just hand-polishing them a little, but now I'll have to machine polish them and repaint them.  Thanks, thanks a lot.  ;)  I would not be doing that if your didn't look so 100% AWESOME.  nice work and congrats on the good find.

 Thanks, guys!

Jtran, no particular reason I went with the Shinkos. They're just decent tries at a good price. Mike Morse over at 650 Central recommended them to my Dad for his bike. Mike knows a thing or two about bikes, so if they're good enough for him, they're good enough for me!
