Me? I use to ride the Hayabusa to Nipton, Ca. Had it to 160 and climbing. What a rush.

Guy was out in his front yard selling stuff. It was in the shed, complete. Engine was seized.

No. But a good story!  I would get in trouble if I had a busa.

True story my friend. Was only at 7500 rpm. Geared for 190. It would do it to.

Done jacking thread.

The bike is in Vermont.  WAY up in Vermont.  I went to see it on Saturday and made a deal for it.  Now it is in the shop being gone through and having some adjustments made.  Things like new isolastics (rubber mounts for the motor and trans).  Valves adjusted and a full tune up.  I will make the trek back up in a few weeks and get it.  Then its home for a beautification process that it is in need of.

If you ever see a complete Norton, BSA or Triumph for $850, buy it on the spot.  Then call me and I will get you your money and a finder’s fee.  I've been looking for a Norton or BSA for a while now and I either find junk that they want a lot of money for or I find a nice bike that they want a wind of the Federal Reserve for.

Be a cool trip and a neat story to ride it home on a nice spring day but a risky venture on a new old bike probably for that many miles.

It would be a great story.  Maybe I will have my wife come with me and she can follow me home in the truck.  that way If I have issues or if I just want a break, I can throw it in the back of the truck.

One issue with that would be the registration.  I have no way to register it before I get it.  Now theres a story.  The day that I rode my new/old bike home with no registration and how I almost made it but ended up spending the weekend in jail and having the bike towed.  Killer story, I'm in!!

The Norton made it home yesterday.  Good thing I brought my truck.  We drove through enough snow that it had to be plowed.  That would ahve been a #$%*ty ride on the bike.

Glad she is home safely. Winter is having a tough time releasing its icy grip this year to the North. Low 30's still around here also for highs.
