« on: October 24, 2013, 12:01:09 PM »
Are the mounting holes the same from 69-78? I'm looking at a joker machine left side cover for sohc. Just confirming it will mount up to my k8.

no.

1969-1976 K is one set of mounts. 1977-78 K is another set and 75-8 F is another, and 77-78 is also different.

There is some interchangiblity ( one side of 77-78F will interchange with 75-76 F but I forget which), but generally there isn't a lot that interchanges back to 69-76 because of the oil tank cap on the right.

The left might work, I would think if it is a custom part it is probably engineered to fit with some...ahem...adjustment.

I just looked on joker machine's site though....why on earth would you want that?
