Cm400a
« on: October 06, 2018, 05:09:15 PM »
So picked up an 81 cm400 for my wife.

Really nice shape! Carbs were gunked so took apart clean gaskets etc.

Weird issue. The right cylinder will only fire at half throttle and above. I've pulled pilot jet again and no difference.

Good spark, checked with a light.

Sounds like a fuel issue, right?

did you pull the midrange/emulsifier out and clean them?  Those bikes command a fairly high price in this area....Larry

Ya, put em in the light and everything.

Paid a cool 350 for it. Titled with 1400 miles.
