Not sure if these have been posted. They have been somewhat inspirational for my build in the raw, clean, minimalism of them along with the lines of the bikes. I'd like to keep more OEM pieces though.

Very nicely done! Love the exhaust, hydraulic clutch and the detailing! Killer color combo!

GL1000 forks? Brembo Classic calipers? Very nice.

BTW, great looking tank logo. Now I wonder who makes those;D  RR

I have set this photo as my desktop background in hopes of getting some inspiration to finish the Cancer Awareness Bike(I have not touched a bike all winter :-[)

The two yellow bikes have been sold and the maroon bike was turned into this white bike and also sold.

Maybe if the weather ever warms up :-\...Larry

Ricky,
Yes, GL1000 forks & Brembo Classic calipers.

I didn't do the tank so I honestly don't know who makes the logo. Are those yours?

Thanks tweakin,
Framecrafters gave me the motor job because there customer basically said he wanted a bike "like Cafe Overkill" including a duplication of my suspension mods.  So he threw me a bone.
I'm not really in love with the tail section & front fender but just MHO.

Hi, Godffery. Yep, I make the logos and sell them on eBay in a range of colors. Over the last couple of years, we've shipped them all over the world.

I wasn't gonna say anything, but I'm not a big fan of the flat tail section either. Just doesn't work for me with a curved fuel tank. Otherwise, what a bike! RR

I totally agree.  Super nice bike, but it doesn't have anything on the original.

Good to know Ricky, I'll keep that in mind.

Well; as we all know, no project is really "Done" so hopefully this one will find it's way back and I'll get an opportunity to address that tail section myself.

The tail section is fine, seen worse. Not a big fan of the front fender, that long oil filter or the headlights. With those head lights there is just too much empty space between the front wheel and the head lights. Love the motor! ;) I believe that was the one I saw in your shop was it not Godffery?

I must say Dustin Kott is one of my inspirations also!  His attention to detail and his focus are great.  He has a distinct style within this genre of bikes that actually sticks out among the crowd with class and bad a** in one fell swoop!

Here is a video that shows his attention to detail on a CB350: Kott Motorcycles 1969 Honda CB350 Custom Cafe Racer GoPro Hero 3+
And here is a video featuring him titled "Cafe Cowboy" a fun little vid to watch: Cafe cowboy

More art than function.
There is so much wrong it isn't funny.
In the video the first thing that is obvious, right silencer is bouncing around so either it isn't mounted properly or bracket has already broken.
The footrest plate is also swing arm outer plate, Oh, don't need that then  :o
'Lightening holes' in brake drum - they are for extra airflow when racing - cooling holes
Fork brace - why bother I only ride it slow so people can see me  ::)
As for attention to detail, cheap pods with seam not rotated out of sight, seat dropping at front
I could probably point out a lot more but I stopped watching
At least it doens't have the damn stupid Firestone tyres and suspension so low wheels hit frame
