Actually, if you look at that front tire, it really isn't as big as it appears at first glance. A lot of it is the heigth of the blackrim that makes the tire look even bigger.
A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

I kinda wondered about that myself. Personally, I'd want a polished edge (even a thin one) around the rim, to kind of set it off. To me, as it is, gives it a sort of tire molded onto the rim look. If that makes any sense.

Didn't miss the bulletin about the front tire, just don't care for that look. But frunt tires must be big I guess??  ::)

I think that some bikes don't look so bad with a larger front tire, while some do! Just my own opinion there. ;)

It was mostly a dig at our self made motorcycle garu. Seems like you can't even express an opinion whithout been put in your place about what is Right. Heaven forbide you make your bike like you want/like.  :(

gearbot, where are you or how old are you? Streettrackers are based on flattrackers. Flattrackers or dirttrackers where the mainstay of US dirtbike racing for many decades. A streettracker is built to resemble that style of oval dirt track racing bike. Most resemble bikes from the '70s on. If you're overseas, you might not of herd of it, or if your too young, its heyday was probbaly befoer your time.

yeah, its my age. at least i know what a cafe racer is for my age. i had many others my age ask me why my cafe bike looks so funny. kids are all about crotch rockets these days and i really don't care for them that much. bikes like these have more character.

I agree , I'm not wild about the looks of the crotchrocket, but I do like there ability to flat out fly down the road. I guess that's what so appealing about the "street trackers" great looks, good performance and character to boot. My bikes kind of a mix I guess, a little cafe, bobber and a minimum of speed look maybe!! Kind of hard to mix all the different styles in and not loose the bike in the process.
