Gordon: I don't know how you moved from 40hp 550s to 150hp rocket rides? lol
 I didn't catch the move and was thinking who would be in shock from a ported 550?

Then I saw the post where you described the "Beast". You might want to join the "Stuntman's Union". At least you could get insurance. lol
My buddy had a Hydro Drag Boat. It had a 625hp BB Chevy w/V drive. The hull was a TF hull so we were not overpowered. On my first ride he told me to tap his leg if I had enough.
I was so scared, I didn't dare let go to tap out. It was a 10 sec ride @110mph.
Anything more than that is beyond my frame of reference? You da Man!

FWIW, I’m pleased to be a repeat customer of Mike Rieck.  I bring him tired old vintage ported heads and he works his magic on them.  The workmanship is nothing short of excellent.
