Clock Mount Ideas

Decided to only mount my speedo on the front of my 400/4, but need some ideas and pics for a mount. I have also decided to get rid of the idiot lights and ignition from the front, so it will be pretty basic at the front. I have managed to get some small LED idiot lights, so will be looking at drilling holes into the speedo mount to fit them.

Anyone??????

So here it is albeit not very good. My camera kind of sucks and it the lighting in my garage doesn't help.
There is a metal bracket that bridges that area. This is actually temporary because I want to get some old school looking, but new mini gauges. I decided I want the tach. Next time I have it out of the garage I'll try to get a better pic.

Thanks for the pic, would like the small gauges myself, but cant justify the cost at the moment, i have too many parts to sort. I also was thinking of using the original bracket, but might try and fab something up in ally, that looks nice. Although i might use that idea as a stop gap.

If you go with the stock tach, a bicycle speedo works fine and is pretty accurate up to 100mph.  It doesn't look very "vintage" though.

I found this one for $9.00.  You can then get rid of the stock speedo, drive cable and gearbox mechanism to save some weight also.

How have you got the tacho fastened into that position???? I can see you have re-shaped the top tree, it looks nice.

I used the two holes in the bottom of the fork clamp, ran some bolts in and secured the tach with a hose clamp.

It's just the stock triple with the bar mounts cut off and ground flat.

I bought a mini speedo for my XS800 and carved up the ignition switch mount. moving it lower meant I could'nt get to trip reset
