Non-Honda Gaskets?
« on: September 06, 2009, 05:56:36 AM »
Just wondered what folks feel about engine gasket kits?
Is it worth the extra for genuine Honda gaskets or are the 'other' brands OK. I mean, has anyone ever had any bad experiences with the non-Honda items?

Also, I have heard that some engine sets do not contain all the seals/'O-rings needed. How will I know?

I've never had issues with Vesrah gasket sets.

Vesrah ok, Athena bad

Used Vesrah for my top end and literally not a drop of oil in 2k miles. Although I used a Honda head gasket because I screwed up the Vesrah one.

I've had good luck with Vesrah.  :)
