Field and Stator coils arrived today, I plopped them in, fired it up AND ITS CHARGING!

Even though my multimeter said the coils were good I guess they were bad! I hope this helps someone else out there who has the same problem!

Scottly thank you so much for all of your help words can't express the relief and gratitude I feel right now! So I will let the smileys do the talking

campbmic, it occurs to me that you owe this man a heart-felt thanks, for providing the parts at a VERY reasonable price!!  :)

So, the problem was solved and I was charging great! I took the bike to fastbroshi's house which was about a 40 mile roundtrip ride and when I got home I was still way up in the 13.something voltage on my battery. The next day I rode it around and still charged fine. Then a day or two later I took the bike to school (100 mile round trip) and at about mile 50 the bike started to bogg down and died. I got the bike back home and the battery was at 7ish volts.

I charged the battery up and it thre it on the bike and fired her up. She wasn't charging anymore! I took the sprocket cover off and found that I hadn't run the wires properly. The three yellow wires had gotten squished by the sprocket cover when I was tightening it down.

I spliced the "squish" out of the wires and it still isnt charging like it should be. I had the bike running at 4.5k without the headlight or taillight and it was breaking even but not charging.

Could the sprocket cover short out the yellow alternator wires and fried the field or stator coil?

I just installed a Dyna-S ignition and now I seem to be having the same problem.

The Dyna S uses almost a full amp more current than points (or my Ignition).
Do you also have the Dyna Green Coils?
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.
