Topic: [Pic Request] Electrical Box of CB750

Info: 1976 750k with 73-75 wiring harness (PartsNMore)

I'm a visual person, and although these wiring diagrams I'm going through are helping out immensely, I really need pictures from someone with a clean (or clear picture at least) electrical box.  I'm getting kind of frustrated and sad.

I need to compare my wiring with that of someone who's wiring is untouched, preferably someone with the same wiring harness as I have.

If anyone could get some closeups of most of the electrical box wiring I would greatly appreciate it.  I have my engine on a stand and I want to crank it prior to getting my frame painted and the starter solenoid is giving me a headache, among other things.

Whats the problem exactly? I just installed my partsnmore harness last night on my K4...

I think I'm just retarded and can never wrap my mind around electrical circuits.

Starter relay , I forgot how it was wired up, as well as a few other things that if I can just take a quick look at how it's supposed to look I can feel more comfortable in trying to crank it rather than crossing my fingers.

The wires are all colour-coded so just match black-black or red/yellow with red/yellow and its hard to go wrong. Make sure your solenoid is working ok though. If its just clicking then its likely not. Double check the frame earth (the green wire that attaches to the frame is making good contact).

The engine's not on the frame, it's on an engine stand.  The green ground I've hooked directly to the negative terminal.

Not sure how much use this is but...taken last night as I was putting the coils back on...I have a Dyna S ignition which explains the red wire coming from the coils...

New harness fitted to old parts  . Missing the red wire going to the solenoid in the first 2 pics (can just see it in the 4th pic).

The two switch wires that go to your coil, I have the yellow/red tracer fine but there's a green/red (i think) wire that's on the coil that's not on the harness... There's a black wire that's next to the yellow/red.

Is this black wire the one I need to hook to the green/red?

Not sure about the green-red. On my coils (from a CB900) I have a blue wire (hooks up to blue harness wire), a yellow wire (hooks up to yellow harness wire), and a black/white wire (hooks up to a plug with dyna red wire to hook up to black(I think or is it black/white?) wire from harness.

Maybe someone else with stock coils can chime in. I have a 72 next to this bike and I can check when I get home if no one else chimes in.

edit - isnt the green/red for the horn?
