I am running a Dyna S with CB900 coils and works fine as stated above. Has been for the last 10 years

I think I will try them. If anything, I will keep the old ones and I have my points if the dyna blows. I hope not but maybe I will go through the connections and solder things and clean things up well to smooth it out as much.
