I need a lightweight cover for a 750
« on: June 12, 2010, 09:52:35 AM »
My K3 sits out in the parking lot at work all day & it's starting to fade  >:(

I was thinking of getting something like this:
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/4/63/1473/ITEM/Nelson-Rigg-UV-2000-Cover.aspx

or maybe one of these others:
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/4/63/49/1/0/0/DCLASS/Street-Bike-Half-Cover-Covers-Accessories.aspx

My 2 main criteria are easy to pack/carry & keeps the sun off.

Any advice and/or recommendations?

Thx

That looks like a good selection. walMart has some in the automotive dept, believe it or not. I've used them, though on an occasional basis.

Depending on how much sun you'll get a full season outdoors will pretty much cook the cheaper ones, but they are lightweight. So you'll be buying one each season or so. Better than faded tank and burned up seat.

The half size are good for your purpose, don't have to let the pipes cool before installing.
