Mystery Part from 1978 CB750K

After labeling more than 40 ziplock bags with all the parts from a complete frame disassembly, I'm left with this mystery part.  Anyone have an idea what it is?

go to bikebandit.com and look at exploded view for "controls/brakes".  item #4 for front brake arm.
