71 sl 350 bobber NEW PIC's AS OF 3/22/11
« on: March 15, 2011, 05:34:18 AM »
Going with the advice of fellow forum members I have decided to go with a refab of the hardtail on my bike.
While out on a job installing for a customer I met a gentleman who had his own shop building dwarf race cars.
In speaking with him I learned he also does fabrication on motorcycles. He's agreed to help me with my personal
project and work began today. The bike has been stretched eight inches. The bottom portion of the hardtail is finished
and if you look closely we have utilized back axle mounts of the original swing-arm. Comments and Suggestions welcome.

Here are some more chek them out we are rilly geting ther now

here is me welding on the tail grrr baby

just making here look even better wut ya think

well got some new parts in and got working on the bobber its now under way chek it out comments wellcom

Looks like you're off to a great start! I'll be looking forward to how this turns out.

While I am not a fan of hardtails, I am always a fan of quality hand fabrication. Nice work.

the springer comes with a 1" neck so u wold have to swap out the neck races and barings but thay take a lil fabing to convert a honda neck to fit

Looking real good. Its nice when somebody puts a little thought into a build rather then just chopping the thing up and going "What do i do now?"
