I actually measured my K2 capacity with a ratio-rite, but I forget for sure.  :(  2.5 quarts to the top mark of the dipstick comes to mind. i remember it was less that i thought, I thought it would be closer to 3 in the tank.

That means the lines, sump and filter must hold another quart.

Sorry, but this post subscribes me to the thread. My tank is still off, if i get a chance I'll measure it again.

That's about what my K8 is, but I want to make a replica CR tank, which is larger than ours. I guess it doesn't really matter, as long as it looks right and holds more than stock, but I was curious. Thanks for the reply!

Gonzo, you won't belive it looking at my avatar but I just don't remember.
The best way to find out is to PM Mark McGrew at M3 racing, if he don't know, no one will.

Good morning

The instructions I received (and followed...) from M3 with my motor were:

"Fill oil tank/engine with four qts, start warm up and while
running look in tank to see how high oil level is when
running. Add 1/2 qt for total of 4.5 qts."

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Sam, I have had email conversations with Mark before about CR750 stuff. He was my next stop on the info trail!
