Put your name down if you want to be involved in this great ride.
Let me know where you are, when you are available and if you would like to co-ordinate for your country.
The lizzard will be with us in June starting in Finland at the Alastaro Drag Strip.

Hi i am willing to do a my bit, i am in the southeast of England south London, i can do a 50 mile radius from my place, maybee more if needed, although if raining hard when the time comes i might have to use one of my other bikes that does not play up in the wet
i am also quite flexible with the times

Hi Picasoo and thanks for the response. It's up to all you people to get talking to members in your own countries and get yourselves organised, I can't help if you don't let me know what's going on in your country.

You don't have to go far.  One full turn of the rear tire on the soil of the country in question with GZ on board is enough to claim the whole country!  Now, meeting up with other riders is the whole idea of the ride, and I'd sure encourage you to do exactly that. But for purposes of adding your country to the list of places visited, the high bar is pretty low. GZ has logged quite a few miles in a cardboard box already.

This will serve as a reminder of what it's all about. If you can't manage a longish ride to meet up with a fellow country man, just do a short one on your own.

Guys,

This is much bigger than a plastic figurine and symbol. This is about bringing our riders together and our countries together, whether on the road meeting up or through the mail. We all have many things in common besides our love for these old bikes. Coming together furthers brotherhood of man and world peace. If our world leaders can't bring the countries together then by damn Godzilla and SOHC4.net will demand it happen! Much has changed for the better in the past 25 years and it's just a damn good start. Godzilla rocks for world peace. Take him for a ride and show him the beauty you know. Meet up with fellow members that you've never known. Put faces to the names. Make a new friend. We are much more than names on a forum.

Enjoy the brotherhood of Godzilla!

Hi there, I am living in the north of the Netherlands. If I have time I could ride it border to border.
Pick it up in Germany and ride it to Belgium/France or something like that.

Btw would it matter if the GZ was transported on a KZ instead of a CB? :)

Put my name down Sam. I'm hoping my wee bike will be on the road for summer.

That's the idea Kevin but you need to talk to the people in the country you are going to to meet up, in your case It's Raul in Spain to see if he can meet you for a hand over, then report back here.

If you are a lone person in your country, don't worry, the lizard will do his fair share of traveling in the post.
Countries with more than one person in, you need to start talking soon.

I happen to be in Paris at the moment, but unfortunately, the flight attendant wouldn't let me put either mu 550 or 750 into the overhead bin. There are a TONNE of bikes in this town!  But I only saw one CB.  Too bad it was a 125 twin. SIGH.  I did see a bike with 4 pipes and a 350-ish tank, but couldn't see for sure if it had one or two sticks.

Yeah OldSchool, there are an incredible amount of bikes, I was there in April & haven't seen that many in any city I've ever been too.  Have you seen them doing the lane splits at speed on the highways?   WOW.

I hear ya Bruce!  They are either full on brakes or WOT the whole time!  And the difference between a close call and an accident is a mear coat of paint!
