Godzilla will be on the prowl again this coming week.
The plan was to send him across to Western Australia for a visit but I haven't heard anything back from there, so, it looks as if he'll be heading east to NSW to keep him on the move.

I received a PM from Charlie (750goes) today who is happy to assist with the NSW section, and I'm hoping to hear from some of the other guys over there as well in the meantime.
Scott is also keen to participate although he is away for a couple of weeks to Phillip Island.

Queensland is next on the menu after NSW and then it's across here to the Northern Territory.

If everything goes reasonably close to plan, GZ will be on his way to Sam in Finland, leaving Oz sometime in May for a June arrival over there.

Just a pre warning fellas - THE LIZARD WILL BE AT LARGE

Well I heard back from Leigh (Kwality) in Perth WA today and the beers are on ice waiting for Godzilla to arrive.
Pete is sending him on his way next week.

Here is a map of where GZ has been so far and also where he is heading. (The blue line)
The next trek after Perth will be from west to east across the continent and then all of the way up north to Cairns in Queensland and then across to Darwin in the Northern Territory.

If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

A big thanks to all of you guys who have participated so far. 8)  8)  8)  8)
You've done great job.

These thanks are for you as well Terry.
Getting GZ to Phillip Island to see Brian (bear) was a dream that turned to reality and you made it happen.  8)  8)  8)  8)
Now let me recap this:
Firstly, you blew a head gasket on the Rainbow Warrior travelling at twice the legal speed limit with Godzilla on board.  ;D (and didn't get caught)  8)
Secondly, the tranny or CV shaft started acting up on the Rocket III while taking GZ to see Bear at PI.
But you made it, and that's all that matters mate.  8)

To Pete (petercb750) - Thanks for everything that you've done, and also for keeping the lines of communication wide open.
You've clocked up quite a few miles with GZ and your contribution has been huge in making this successful.
It's been a pleasure working with you mate.  8)  8)  8)  8)  8)  8)

Excellent news !  My bike is currently in bits, but will all the SOHC4's Godzilla has seen over the past few months it should go together like a breeze with his sage advice.

There's a small contingent that will show him some of the local haunts around Perth, Fremantle and surrounds.

When is he needed Eastside?  There's a Jap Bike Show to be held in Perth in late March, but he may have itchy claws by then...

G'day Leigh

We haven't got any fixed dates for GZ, and the main thing is to keep him on the move, that is the best that we can do.

I'd like to be able to get him away from Darwin and over to Sam in the UK by around mid May.
That should see the lizard arriving over there in early June.

So just do whatever works for you guys mate and have a good time.
The NSW leg is an unknown at this stage and the guys in Qld are eagerly awaiting to show GZ around over there.

Keep us all posted mate with lots of pics of Godzilla's WA adventures.  8)

Word of warning, Kwality, DO NOT try to out drink the little bugger, you will loose!

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Godzilla.  His eyes follow me around the workshop. It's like he knows.

All's well with the Lizard - the rest of the family has been crook with the gastro, so there hasn't been much in the way of outings.  This weekend there's a plan to ride down to Mandurah, get on a boat and catch some crabs.  Reptile vs Crustacean.  Should be interesting.  Posts to follow!!

GZ won't want to leave there Leigh after he's had a feed of bluey's and a cold ale to wash it all down.  ;D

Leigh has just been in contact with me, and unfortunately his family has been besieged with a litany of illness.
I've sent our best wishes for his family to make a full and speedy recovery.
So, due these circumstances, we've decided to keep GZ on the move.

Queensland, batten down the hatches, Godzilla is heading your way very soon.  8)
Who would like the honour of greeting our little buddy to the Sunshine State?
Once I know, I'll contact Leigh and he will forward the lizard on.

I've still had no response from the NSW guys, so I think that it's best to get the Qld leg underway now.

Thanks Dave (dave500)

GZ will be on his way to to Southern Qld very soon.

Weld up the doors on the beer fridges men.  ;D
We've all seen what Godzilla can do when he gets a sniff of the amber fluid.

Have a good time with him guys.

Mick and Dave. Good to hear that the relay will shortly be in Qld. Do we have enough riders to do the east coast? I think that I may be able to link up with Ben to the north of Ayr but I don't know of anyone in the vicinty south of Ayr.

Thanks Dave (dave500)

GZ will be on his way to to Southern Qld very soon.

What happened to Team NSW?

It soundsl like it's really close to finding out how many of us are still able to play. I'm still up for it.
Can everybody put their name & location here again? The original list is pretty old by now.

Mick, info is spread all over these threads. Do you have the final list for Qld & get everyone to visit the site for an update?
I hope this rain of late settles down a bit or the lizard will have to swim.
Pat, is Rocky too far for you? Maybe I or Dave & I can make it up there? 600+km for all of us one way.  :P

G'Day Frosty. Yes, we do need a list of riders and locations. Rocky is too far south for me. I could pickup at Bowen which is approx. 100ks south of Ayr and then ride to Innisfail which is approx 350ks north of Ayr. That would be a round trip of 900ks. If CBEN is still available he may be able to meet me at Innisfail.
Mick, there is a remote possibility that I may not be available for this relay. There maybe a medical issue in my family. I will know more next week. Pat

Here is a link to the original list that we had.
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=92690.0

I'll refine it here by working from south to north which should make things a bit easier to work out.

1. Mudgeeraba - dave500 (Dave)
2. Goondiwindi - Dingo
3. Greenbank - Frostyboy (Owen)
4. Ipswich - eldutchy (Jase)
5. Brisbane - Retro Rocket (Mick)
6. Maryborough - Trueblue
7. Rockhampton - rockvegus400
8. Ayr - CB750F2 (Pat)
9. Cairns - cben750f0 (Ben)

Hopefully Dave should receive GZ next week or sometime thereabouts.
I think that you will comfortably have about 5>6 weeks time wise.

The plan is to send the lizard from Darwin to Sam in the UK around about mid May.

So if Godzilla can be here in Darwin at the begining of May, that should give me enough time to scare off a few crocs with him and then bid him farewell.  ;D
