What's the requirements? I better read the main thread.   ::)
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

I could try to hook up with you Piggy  ;) but I don't think I'd be able to make it all the way to Newry, if you would be able to come a little further south I could probably definitely hook up with you somewhere but sure we have another few weeks to sort all the details out. I could also take godzilla for a little tour of County Kerry while I have him, some beautiful scenery down that direction.

I don't think there is anybody else active on the forum from Ireland?? I'll see if I can find more people.

Good lads, you have plenty of time unless more come on board now that things are moving.
I sort of have an idea in my head how it might pan out and you two guys are near the end.
I'm trying to make it so that posting the lizard back and two don't cost anyone a fortune.
I know for a fact that some members are not that well off and postage from their country is high.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the PM Lester, I would love to be involved, but my 550 won't be running until next year, and I,m not really sure how this works! But I'm game for a laugh.

It's always great to meet people with the same interests. My plan for my own build is to run from Malin head to Mizzen head during next Summer, but to do the ride in one day! The bike better be as reliable as you guys say!

If I'm right and this is a sort of relay, I'm in Wexford and either Cork or Dublin and on to Newry would be no hassle at all. ( I collected a Sceptre in Ardfert Co. Kerry, from Wexford, and delivered it to Dublin, then back home in one day. 435 miles total. Towing a bike trailer with our old Suzuki Vitara. So mileage isn't a problem.

Cheers guys, looking forward to seeing you all!

Woohoo, welcome aboard.
I wonder could Sam point us to a thread with the most relevant information, I've looked at so many and there are so many posts it's hard to get through.

Godzilla's dad here looking in  ;D with his blue Irish eyes.

The intro: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=81055.msg908508#msg908508

The actual rider's write ups: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=85509.0

Many, many pages if you want to blow a night surfing.

This is about riding, this is about maybe getting out of town and on the road, this is about getting our old bikes in better condition for a ride, this is mainly about meeting like minded (only as far as SOHC4 Hondas go  ;D ) individuals and sharing our love for these old bikes.

Now do you see how it works ::) after just one day you have a link up rider/driver ;D
Getting to meet members is what it's all about and I won't moan at you if you have to use other forms of transport.
Keep talking amongst yourselves and get to know one another, your turn with the lizard will come.
Is cosúil leat a bheith ag brú ar guys go maith in ainneoin an bhacainn teanga.

Hey Guys,

I see how this takes on a life of it's own, and it's great!

I may be able to borrow a 500/4 to do my bit, but it's been off the road for a number of years (about 8!) but it might just work out.

If I can do it, I will!!!

Cheers all,

Mick

Feck it lads, can't seem to summon up enthusiasm here on the continent, may just have to return to my roots and do a stint in the ould sod. Bags a run from Kilkenny to somewhere North, Rathfriland on the hill brings back memories, or Kirkistown, haven't been on the ferry in a while.

It's not looking good for me.   :( I still need a new v5, MOT and tax. Depends how much time before he gets here really.
