Today i tried putting those filters on, all curved down with same length tubes, it ran like crap, wouldnt rev above like 5k, when i took them off it still did it so i hit it wide open and it acted as if it were flooded and then took off. So i tried the old t-shirt filters(which i used on my old KZ400 when i was 14) they worked fine on my KZ but on the CB they did the same thing, could it be running really rich and when i try to put any type of filter on it, it because TOO RICH?? I adjusted those air screws, like all the way in and then 1 1/2 turns back out like the manual said.

What main jets do you have and what needle clip position? You probably need around 110/115.
If the wrong filter oil was used it may be restricting filters too much (if you use foam filter oil on K&N it blocks them up) try washing filters in kerosene or even dishwasher detergent & water.Dry them before refitting.
