Today my brother and I rented a blower from the local supplier and blew 24 inches of fiberglass into the attic.
I hope to have the rest of the siding on by the end of Monday.

Looks like you put some plywood down in the attic, much storage up there? Easy access??

Johnie, really admire what you've done.  It shows a genuine commitment to your bikes and their care.  This is one of the most relevent build threads on the forum.

Thanks guys. Stevo...I have full attic storage in the attached 2 car garage. In the shop attic I only put a catwalk up there in case I need to get in there and do not want to compress all that insulation. I decided not to cut a hole in the shop ceiling and instead cut a hole from the 2 car garage gable end into the shop attic area.

Making progress on the siding. Front and back is done. Today I got the siding up to the bottom of the windows on the long 34 foot wall. Then it was time to get the sunflake orange out on the road. The last thing I did was to put a couple bikes into the shop for the first time. Now I can get at the stuff on my shelf in the other garage. It is nice to finally be able to move a couple over to the new shop even for a little while. In a couple weeks the floor will have epoxy and I guess that takes like 5 days.

5 days?! Hell, you've built the whole garage in 5 days it seems!

Good one Jerry  ;D it did come together much faster than I thought. Everything just fell into place that is for sure. Really down to the floor, window jams and trim, and a trim board along the floor to protect the raw edge of the plaster.

Today I finished the siding. She is officially weather tight. Electrician finished up the exterior lighting. Gutters go on Friday. Supposed to be humid and 80's this weekend so I better get that AC in the sleeve. However, I think I will be out on a bike enjoying the early summer weather in May in WI. Here are a couple pics of this afternoon...

Today I am staining the windows and window jams. Think I will get the dogs into the channel for a swim then get a 750 out while stain dries.

Progress is not as fast as putting on a roof or putting up walls. Got the window jams installed. Insulated under the jams. Today I stained the pine window trim. Great day for a ride. Have a great Memorial Day weekend fellas!!!

What are you going to be doing for heat Johnie?  I'd image a window unit like yours would be fine for AC in Wisonsin, but I'd imagine you'd need a pretty robust heater.

The heater will be ceiling mounted unit heater. The gas line and electrics are already installed. I will put the unit in this fall when they go on sale. Robust heater not really necessary with the amount of insulation and wrap I have put in here. It will be a 45,000 BTU heater.

Looks great John!
It is nice to have a mancave/place for these Honda babies.
Gonna install my opener today so I can just ride in without having to
even get off my bikes. LOL

Yesterday I got the window trim installed. This was all extra pine I had in the attic from a patio job a few years ago. Glad I remembered I had it. I also moved the K1 to the shop to get it ready for a cycle show this weekend.

Wait wait wait! You have a k1 on top of the two other 750s? Where is the show at?

So it looks like the KO will be the first repair in the new shop. Got it out of storage and installed a new Yuasa...turned on the fuel...gas coming out below carb #4. Turns out I need to change the gaskets in the fuel T's. This was my first 750 project back in 2007 and I think I did not know much about fuel T's back then so these are the originals. I will probably change out the float bowl gaskets, check the float height and clean and check the carbs as long as they are off. So nice to have this much room to work now. Epoxy floor to be installed in a month or so.

Love the sign. That Wing is exactly like my brothers. Cool pics of the bikes!!! Supposed to be in the 90's this weekend here. I should get the KO done this AM and plan to get it out. Then I am officially ready with the bikes set for the riding season. It is a relief to have them all in the shop now. When they were in the garage I was always worried something would fall off the shelf on them and stuff. They are secure now.

Three nice bikes. You've got to like the CT70 (mini trail). I had a red one and this was my first Honda. Fun little bike. Would fold down the handle bars and put it in the back seat of my moms 1969 Pontiac Catalina and go to my friends house to ride with him. Great memories.
