Uncomfortable moments at bike night
« on: June 08, 2006, 08:40:35 AM »
Last night we did the Quaker Steak and Lube bike night. We did the tour and looked at the bikes. Then went to go in and eat. Wife goes off to the bathroom. In the bathroom some woman asked here "how do you know Tom?".  ??? Oblivious I am out in the waiting area. She comes out of the bathroom and tells me about this.  ??? I think quick and hard as she describes a 30 something tall blonde, big chest, little waist, and little but   :o :-\ Hell if I know who it was. This ride was in a town that I really never did much in and knew mostly no one.  ???

You should have waited around till she came out, so you could have pointed her out as the lap dancer you met the month prior  :D  Or at least you could have then made an educated choice on which path to head down.

Quaker Steak & Lube - Right On

I did not know they had expanded that far.

For years "the lube" was a single location operation in Sharon PA - about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh.  About 10 years ago they started to expand in the Pgh area - I think that they have four or five in the area now - one in Erie, PA

Watch out for thoes atomic wings and don't forget to "sign the waiver"

Yea I saw those crazy wings. Not for me thanks. I'll bet they burn in and OUT!

I eat nothing that comes with a warning label.  ;)

I saw one other SOHC in the crowd. It was a full fairing ratter 750 F. The rest of the stuff was just same same same. But there were some crazy things like v-8 trikes there.

Drove by the QS&L in Erie on my way back to Toronto from the Detroit auto show last Jan.  Saw it from across the street while we were in the Burger King (HUGE mistake - should've gone to the QS&L).  First time I'd seen or heard of the chain - funny stuff.

Dang,  I'd forgotten about the "lube"  I used to go there when I had relatives near Warren, Ohio.  Worth the trip, for sure.

Truer words have never been spoken  ::) Yeah, we'll give you a ride. And fix your meals, fluff your pillows, etc. All while softening up the beach before you go in.

In all seriousness, I have nothing but respect for The Corps.  8) Even if you are a bunch of crazy sum#$%*es! ;D

Thank you for your service to our country.
