I know a lot of you old timers will will see this and think... so (or who the hell was that)?  But for a lot of us who came of age in the '80's, the Beastie Boys were the #$%*.  RIP MCA...

I could be wrong, but this might have been the last time he appeared in a music video (comes in at the end as a cop... with the gray beard: driving the cop car at 23:25)...

The dude throwing the pie at 3:10 is my brother Alexander; his group "Murphy's Law" did a national tour w/ the Beastie's and they all got arrested on stage in Florida for public obscenity.

What were they doing when they got arrested?  What constitutes public obscenity in FL?

Speaking of big things on stage. I remember going to S.F. to see Beastie Boys headline with the Rollins band (Henry), and Cypress Hill. Rollins opened, and when Cypress Hill came on the brought a big hand that was holding a joint. I'd say the joint (not real) was about 2 feet in diameter, and about 5 feet in length. The joint slowly burnt down throughout the show. Over all a great show.

My 22 year old son called me a couple of days ago to let me know the sad news. I'm glad he along with his younger brothers have been able to enjoy the music the beastie boys put out years before they were born. RIP. MCA
