The question - as a reminder - isn't if the CB750A was sold in Canada - but if it was sold in Canada in 1975.  Some sources say so, but I've never found it to be true.
1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.

 1975
The CB750A Hondamatic 750 was sold in 1975 in Canada -- one year before it was offered in the USA. It was available in one of two colors: Muscat Green Metallic or Candy Antares Red. The exhaust system was a 4-into-1. The bike had wire spoke wheels with aluminum rims. The transmission was a 2-speed with a fluid torque converter. The engine was a 736cc SOHC 2-valve air-cooled inline 4 cylinder with a chain drive. The serial number began CB750A-6000001.

..............................
the hondamatic was a two speed transmission honda manufactured for motorcycles from 1975 until 1983. the transmission first appeared on a 1975 cb750 that was sold only in canada. in 1976 the cb750 model appeared in the states and was sold for one more year. after 1977, hondamatics appeared only in cm400a and cm450a models until 1983, when the transmission was decommissioned.

From Honda CB750A Hondamatic 1977-1978 spare parts list 1994 second edition!
1977 10560 frames and 10562 engines.
1978   5612 frames and   5609 engines.

1976   7331
1977 10560
1978   5612
Total 23503

From multiple on-line sources, I found that the last frame number:

in 1976 was 7331;
in 1977 was 10560; and
in 1978 - no information.

So, although not every frame made it into final production, we can safely say that about 17,500 or so were sold in 1976 and 1977.

All we need now is the last frame for 1978.  I doubt that we'll find it - but we can always post our frame number.

Who's got the largest 1978 frame number?

I have always read the same the 75 was sold in Canada in 75.

http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/Honda/honda_cb750f-a_77.htm

Additionally two California spec Hondamatics were imported to australia by a dealership to drum interest to possibly sell them there.  One gentleman still had one kept in original condition at least as of 2013.

I know someone that was previously on this board has a 75 as he had stated he had a 76 and sold it or was getting ready to sell it cause he came across a 75.  If we can find who that was they could very the serial numbers.
