I bought the latter and it seems like a K6 saddle to me. I'm sure that there were many variations and a K6 saddle may be the least desirable. I'm happy with what I wound up with but you may want to research this a bit as some of them are less of an air craft carrier and more tapered on the sides. There is also the "duck tail" end on the earlier ones. Good luck!
