Mechanical Engineer - (Previously employed as a chassis design engineer with America's Oldest Motorcycle Company until they were purchased by Polaris Industries...didn't like the idea of relocating with the Polaris acquisition so the family and I decided to stay put in North Carolina...much longer riding season here!   ;)

Turned a wrench most of my life at new car dealers but started at a used car lot at 14. Became an A&P for a minor in Vegas. Got out and became a geek. Now I am internal IT for a major security software company.

I see there are a few A&P's here.

Now knowing what Magilla is, my questions have been answered.

Where's Whata Farmer?
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Self employed jack of all trades, electrical, plumbing, ceramic tile, decks, gazebos, anything needs fixing or building on your house I can do it with the exception of roofing.  Won't do that anymore.  Too old.;D

During the school year, I'm a Band Director.....in the summertime, I'm a house painter.  Paint brushes don't spew excuses and constantly whine like 12 yr olds do, so I'm looking forward to the switchover in about a week.   :)

Are you at Ben Davis University, or Lawrence North College?

That's always funny to me.

BTW, I do physician billing from my home office.

Sooooo............. Who's this physician, "Billing", who you "do" in your home office? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I'm the guy the majority of people do not want to see I'm a collector.

I think I might have you beat James. Im an oral health tech, aka Dentist. Id say most people either hate coming to see me or are just straight terrified. I mostly give people mildly bad news and then fix things.
Im FAR from retirement. Been out of school for 3 years now. Before, I failed out of engineering, got a degree in Wildlife Science and Forestry, and then Biology.

I did a bit of a stint in the army, now I'm an apprentice painter stuck in an epic battle of wallet Vs Honda four, currently the Honda is winning, but one day apparently my wallet will catch up.

Anyone want any painting done in the Melbourne area? lol

I did that collection stuff for three months.  Glad they let me go!

Among other things, I managed a collection office for 14 years.  Mostly I was the Systems guy.  First thing I did was convert the office from paper based to computer based.  I spent a lot of long weekends doing computer work.  And a lot of long weeks talking to debtors, and montering phone calls.  I do a lot of woodworking (build chairs, tables, and about anything that goes in a home- do most in Greene & Greene.  I love doing machine work.  at one point I had 2 CNC lathes, 2 CNC mills, 2 lathes, and a mill all in my "workshop" along with a lot of other tools.

I work for a formally large semiconductor company.
I worked in a clean room making wafers back in the 80's and 90's. (Like the Intel guys, only with less dancing....)
Also worked in IT for a few years.
For last 10 years or so I help qualify new high-performance multi-core network processors.

I've been a small town country contractor that has been able to work in many states on the east coast. I reconstruct /rehab old houses and some commercial buildings. I've  worked for myself for 30 years, getting a little too old to do some jobs that I've always offered before. I am hoping to start another life here soon that will include motorcycles.
A few Honda 500's, a few Honda 550's, a few Honda 650's, '72 cb 450, a couple 500/550/650 hybrids, and 2001 750.
