I don't have time to read all the responses but I have found this forum open, helpful, funny and tough to read at times but never clicky. This place is a love-in compared to a Goldwing forum I belong to.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

:)Trust me I dont want to hurt anybodys feelings and I do appreciate the things I have learned during my short time here.
But some of you need to lighten up....you know who you are.
You know Keys, I have seen you pop off like this at least once before. There is no clique here. I and others have tried to help you on several posts. Like any group of people who ride bikes there may be a bit of ball busting we all give it and we all take it. That is the way it is, always has been, and all it always will be. That is life Bro.  Man up.

I have been a member of this forum for almost 2 years (very short compared to others).  Because of this forum, especially the projects forum, I have begun to reserect my 750K1 after 35 years in storage.

I have found the forum to be quite friendly, helpful and have made a few aquaitances who have helped me out when they can.  I have been able to obtain 2 of the elusive chain guards for my K1 from members; one in almost pristene condition.

The knowledge base here is unbelievable especially when one considers how many sohc models and years there are to cover. Sometimes help from forum members is not always visible to the general forum as many tips I have received have been by asking knowledgeable individuals by personal message.  They have never refused to provide useful guidance.

In observing the forum there appears to be a right of passage for new members.  One of my first posts was the infamous"oil" question.  Instantly the popcorn started popping, mentions were made about using the search function, but in the end I got many helpful replies.  Another one of my first posts was in the infamous South Side Dive Bar ;).  I said I had a stupid question about how long people have logged on the forum.  The first response I received was that I was correct it was a stupid question.  But then the replies started coming.  It was quite interesting to see how many responded on how much time they had spent online and why.

Sometimes it seems like we play in a large sandbox.  Disputes sometimes, but mostly kidding and a few wisecrack comments.

My vote ---> Clicky no ... imagination yes.

Come to think of it I spend too much time on here and no working on the K1  ::)

Sorry bout ranting on ... I think its the Bailey's and coffee.  :o

As several others have said, this is a nice, friendly, and very helpful place to hang around. Although I don't have a very high post count, I've beed around quite a while, mostly lurking, I do jump in every once in a while to offer the benefit of my knowledge and experence.

350F's and 650's are what I have, you guys with the 750's are the life blood of this forum and for that I'm most thankful, without you, there would not be a SOHC4.

I personally like cliques. I've just started my own, it's an exclusive club just for members who can spell, or if they can't, will use the spell check function. Membership will be by personal invitation, but after reading all of the preceding posts, I think it'll be a very small club indeed! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Harry, it is clique. From the Miriam Webster Dictionary

Definition of CLIQUE
: a narrow exclusive circle or group of persons; especially : one held together by common interests, views, or purposes
— cliqu·ey adjective
— cliqu·ish adjective
— cliqu·ish·ly adverb
— cliqu·ish·ness noun

Origin: French

Definition of CLICK transitive verb

1: to strike, move, or produce with a click <clicked his heels together>
2: to select especially in a computer interface by pressing a button on a control device (as a mouse)
