Brake question
« on: June 26, 2012, 08:16:31 AM »
I was wondering, im about to order some of the steel brake lines from slingshot, but is there a way to remove the hard line from the caliper and plumb the lower line directly to the caliper?

yes, just tell them what you want to do, and they can make it.

I have banjo 90 degrees for the caliper - still in a box somewhere to be installed when I go dual disc - but from the dry mockup it will work well.

I discussed it at length with Shaun and sent him a drawing. Take a piece of stiff cable and mock your setup. He can do 45, 90 and flat banjos. The only catch is the orientation of hose ends  - the hose is not twistable - it has to be crimped in the right position.

Good luck

so mock up my lines and figure out the angle of the banjo that it needs to connect to the caliper?
