Here are some pics of my finned covers, as you can see the fins are quite thin, I guess to match the fins on the cylinders and head. Some manufacturers oriented the fins to angle them parallel with the cylnder and head fins, while others didn't. (see bottom pic)  ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

That's an OEM cover that has been attacked with a grinder to allow easy access to the sprocket mate, very common mod for race bikes "back in the day", I did one for my bike too. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Good eye Terry, I've had that bike in my garage for a little over a year now and didn't notice! LOL! Good call too, that bike was championed at Sears Point in the late 70's in AFM.

I was actually reffering to the smooth stator cover though. ;)

Ha ha, ooops! Sorry mate, I didn't notice, and I used to be a forward scout! Oh well. That's an interesting cover, I wonder if it was added to give some addition strength to the OEM cover if the bike was crashed? I've crashed a couple of CB750's over the years, and it doesn't take much to punch a hole in an alternator cover. Cheers, "Cloth Eyes". ;D

Wow! I like the Honda script covers! The SOHC cover is a ringer for what's on my K1 right now.

I am VERY envious of the RC Cylinder sets you have. ;)

Ha ha, don't be envious mate, they're rubbish. With your skills and a CNC mill you could make some nice cylinder blocks that don't crack between the cylinders like the RC blocks do. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Well, not much has changed externally on Rhonda, but I got the carbs cleaned out and synched, and set the float heights. Wish I checked the needle heights though, as it still runs a tad rich just off idle. Clutch is finally sorted, used the SS springs, and plates. Stripped the donor bike of all I wanted. Next, new chain, and fork boots. :)

You are very close. I'm not ready for paint yet, and hit the re-pro side covers with plastidip to stop the sun damage. Look a little harder. ;)

Did a few little things this weekend, the hint is in the list:

Put a baffle in the Kerker megaphone
Correct headlight bucket bolts
Temporarily fit S&W shocks so I have some damping for daily use
Temporarily fit all the new badges
Temporarily blacked out the side covers

No hints here but stuff in waiting:
New stripes to be applied after paint
On the fence and a Accel coil and wire setup
Send off the failed Dyna S points conversion module for replacement
X ring RK chain, just want for the new sprockets to show up and day now.

The wing badge is on the wrong side.

Tank paint looks great.

Lol! Nailed it.

Tank looks good in pics, but there are small imperfections that don't show in pics. The tank, headlight bucket, side covers and air box will all be re-shot at the same time. Not until later though, have other things to tackle before I go crazy with aesthitics. ;)

Put new X-ring chain and sprockets on today, and started polishing up some of the covers. ;)

WHEW! Knocked out a big piece of the puzzle. Scored a 4-4 set-up, for a whopping $125. Although they are 341's and my bike should have 300's, I'm going to rock em!
