Try posting in the "bikes and parts wanted" section. Be sure to put Norway in the title.

If you can't find one in Norway, just jump on EBay Germany, I buy heaps of CB750 stuff from Germany. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

you need to ask for an ignition advancer unit, maybe put "complete"in the add?if worst comes to worst i have an orphaned cam only you can have free if you pay postage, itll drop onto your unit, the picture of one that scottly posted shows no flange on the action end,ive only seen them with a flange like this.

ill even clean this up ready for use for you.

Hey Dave, the pic I posted was the K1 part that came in a jumble of parts in a box when I bought my bike. Your pic made me curious, so I looked at a K7 cam: it has a thin flange also.

Well that helps... There are two different advancers for the 750 and the cams don't interchange. Find a whole one and save the old one for parts. Dave is holding one that looks like my K0 cam that I removed to install a Boyer. If yours is original it shouldn't have a flange at the bottom. Check out Hondaman's tutorial: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=34454.0

Just buy a Dyna S ignition, install it, set it and forget it.

Either will work. Advance is different. Read that link! And TerryK, Kirk's already in the sinking boat of failed electronic ignition.

1+, Dave. I doubt he will be able to merely swap in a points plate and hook it up to the existing wires. Kirk, you need to find where the wires under the point cover are going. Also, look at the coils, and trace back the blue and yellow wires.

Here we go.    ::)
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Well.. Iggy-Trevor is dead.. I guess...

anyways It all ripped out.. as for the wires..

the wireharness is intact as for the motor it seems alright aswell.. we will see what happens next week I guess depends on the Norwegian Customs service..

so.. when the igntionplate is in place again.. we will see what the next problem is.

are you sure it had no other box/unit hooked into the ignition?once you get the points system in your hands youll have to set it up and adjust it,,down load the manual if your not sure on how to do it or are just unfamiliar with the honda set up,be sure to have 12 volts at the coils,if your engine has only been started now and again over years replace the spark plugs aswell.

I have the manuals, even a shopmanual in paper...

there was this other box.. I ripped that one out since I couldnt get it to work either... I will try to get some pictures of both of these items.

but now its back to painting the tank..
