Yesterday, I bought this paddock stand from Aldi for $49.99

I assembled it & discovered the solid plastic swingarm holders slide forward on my wife's Honda VTR250. Hmmm, no grip... so I bought this rubber mat from Bunnings Warehouse for $12.90

I cut out two squares, and with a bit of drilling, two caphead screws & some JB Weld I modified the swingarm holders

The stand now works perfectly! No more rolling the bike back to lube the chain

good fix,yeah they had a special on all their bike gear,,i bought a pair of those socks,they are long and warm but thin,i wore normal heavy work socks over them.

I thought about buying some of that stuff, but I forgot, so it's probably all gone now. I bought my parents one of their 80 cm TV's a few weeks ago, and it's brilliant, so for 250 bucks, it's a bargain! Did anyone buy the Aldi kevlar jeans?Cheers, Terry.

I posted something about the sale at Aldi on here and then didn't even go! I wanted some of the jeans and some gloves. I didn't want to go because it looked like rain and I only have a push bike. Maybe the one in Brunswick will still have something next time I go?

I just went to my local Aldi, there was only a couple of jackets, a helmet and one glove. Oh, and I bought a balaclava, just in case I need to make a withdrawl from my local TAB. Cheers, Terry.

Well it'd look pretty funny, but coincidentally I've been giving a lot of thought to my new invention "Manpons" (male tampons for addressing the sweaty ball condition) and a catchers mitt shaped pad (I'm thinking about using cigarette butt material for the padding as it's quite absorbant, and as our tobacco industry will soon disappear I'd like to keep all the cigarette factory workers employed) would probably be an ideal shape, gently cupping your balls and providing some much needed insulation betwixt ball and thigh. ive only been to aldi twice and have always queued in an orderly fashion and had my papers ready,i didnt like the look of the "camping shower",right next to the "camping gas".

Well, he got 17 million votes Mick, which was 10 million more than his closest rival, so 49% of Germans voted for him. I'm guessing that "Voter Remorse" after 1933 in Germany was very similar to voter remorse in Australia, after 2010?
