I shall try again, this time I will not post untill I have finished. :D
As Ben guessed it's a CBR250, only one of those would need a rev counter that goes that high.
The forks look like CB72/77 with a 750 Suzuki front brake.
The frame looks like modded CB72/77 with the rear wheel turned round to take the chain to the other side.
Whos is it Mike?

I thought this competition was over? Or was that just the world cup? :'(
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

It belongs to an older fella out of New Hampshire who works in the bike industry has quite the bike collection. He has an RC-45 and first year (new model) MV Augusta 750 sitting in his living room. I think each of those has .3 miles. He is always finding weird Japanese stuff and importing it. Christ he built himself a museum for all his bikes and about 2,500 sq ft of antique Japanese parts starting from the late fifties at his house. He's the guy that gave me that lead regarding your carb. He has a couple of turbo CB750's just sitting there too(along with 50 or 60 other bikes). ;)

Where did the black 4-into-4 exhaust come from on that CBR250 machine?  THAT is the style of exhaust I want for my Cafe Racer.

Can anyone advise?

Hey Milke, Ive seen that MV Augusta and it does indeed sit inside his living room!! Amazing bike  ;D. His collectiion is just amazing and among other things he has an unused CR750 race tank sitting in his loft!!!

cheers

P.S. I saw him race his smaller bikes at Laconia the other week -looked like a lot of fun.
