1974 Rickman Honda

  Hi I just picked up a Honda Rickman I bought Quite a wile ago, ( long story ) Its
pretty good, I'm hoping for some help with miscellaneous parts and little things.
I know I need a rear set shifter, its GP shifting with my big foot is for the birds,
the bike was parking lot dropped  on the right side, really its not bad, But,  the glass is thin and
the plastic bushings and screws that hold the fairing are bad.
 I'm pretty sure I will have to take the hole thing apart and start over to really make it nice,
the motor is a fresh pumped up 836 and its 98% complete, But any help I can get will be great!

Looks fairly complete and tidy mate ! Well done. Is the points cover missing ? Was it damaged in the fall ? Any crankcase damage ?

   Hi I dont know if these are getting posted, I live in Lake Havasu City, AZ
Im just going to need bits and small parts, There is no engine damage, the
bike has not run in 32 years, it runs now, it has about four miles on the 836,
its all up hill from here.  Thanks Dave

The reason I asked was that I met a couple of guys at the show from Havasu.

Dave,

I would run a quick search using the search box in the upper left (NOT the search box in the upper right) for Rickman.  You should get a number of build and other strings with Rickman projects.  You then might want to PM those particular members to see if they have spares or any good sources for the parts you need.  You can also troll the Classifieds here, but it will be hit or miss for Rickman parts.

Great looking bike, and good luck getting her restored/repaired.
