I guess I was going through Triumph withdrawal. I previously owned a newer, liquid-cooled Thruxton R. It had a great motor (loads of torque) but felt extremely heavy.
Nice bike, Don, congrats. Just curious, what carbs does it have?That front tire pattern looks familiar, it's not the same brand as the rear, is it?
Looks tuff and a nice throwback to a real cafe racer.

My wife has a 2005 Thruxton. Now that we got the annoying bouncing problem solved she likes it.

Mine didn’t pogo but it was not compliant at all. Way over sprung. Now it soaks up the bumps in the road and rebounds at the proper rate too. Good suspension can really improve the character of the bike - as your wife likely agrees.
