new cycle x pipes, pretty cool
« on: October 11, 2012, 06:05:49 PM »
just saw these in an e-mail.  i think they look GOOD, but i still like my 4-1:

i also like their zoomie drags, but don't know about a kick starter or ground clearance.  both these styles come in mild and stainless, so that's a nice option!

these are what i REALLY like, the GASSERS, only seen them in the e-mail so far:

^Yep. All they stock is the MAC stuff, so you have to go to DCC or carpy for 550 pipes (or motogpwerks for the really nice stuff).

Do those even supply enough back pressure?

I had sent them an email in August if they had any plans for hipo 550 exhaust and they said they might have something towards the end of the year. I just did a followup email with them (as a p.s. to my main email), so hopefully they'll have a more concrete answer.

Cool.
I always assumed they made a lot more 750's then 550's from looking at websites like theirs etc.. . but here in philly I know of almost a dozen 500/550's and maybe one 750. What were the production numbers like between the two bikes? was my assumption that they made more 750's plain wrong?

I want to say there were more 750s made, because they ran from 69-78, while the 550/550s were 71-78. Although the two did overlap, 71-76 for 500s and 74-78 for 550s. I don't know the exact numbers though.
