Hate when ya cant find something you know you had!

I am afraid i put it some place logical - meaning I can only find it by accident

She just would not start, not even spin.  The oil light and neutral lght were on and also high beam control light and that one just would not turn off.

I started checking it with voltmeter and the pigtail from + side of the relay fell off.   .

Problem found.

3000 miles maintenance, it was long overdue.  She is in good shape but to be on the safe side I changed not just oil but also the filter.   She works hard pulling the sidecar.

As far as the hack, a few years ago I bought a 550 and the seller made me take the hack as part of the deal, I really didnt want it as I had no room to store it. I just didnt think I would enjoy riding the bike with the hack bolted on it.
Listed the sidecar on CL and sold it immediately, I was surprised how much interest there was to buy it! No regrets.

I plan to get there for the sunrise one day, maybe even drag my wife with me. 

The sidecar is fun to ride and as homemade I could never sell it due to liability.   I guess I have to put Dorothy back on the road.

The set of new to me Ikon shocks - thanks again, Hondaman -   resisted all shop hack solutions.  So i spent several hours making a tool from an old axle. I even hardened it in oil bath. I am glad I did, it took 4 feet pipe to losen up the nut. 

The plan is to rebuild the shock and get a set of springs for Red.  The sidecar and my fat ass makes her bottom out too easily.

It ain't pretty, the 1/2" nut lets me use a bolt for handle.

Good question, does the sidecar seat tilt forward to access storage behind?

The top box is handy and I am used to it. 

The back of the seat in the sidecar can be completely removed.  In theory it is locked - but my lock was busted, I have to bring new one from home/Czech.

It needs it, doesn't it? I was thinking about machining down CB750 sprocket hub but it would be too much work and weight.  I should find and cut out some 6061x1/4" for it.

I think you might find one from another vehicle;now it's on your 'radar' so you see one.
A fancy wheelchair type vehicle perhaps 

I'm thinking a vintage car,something from the 60's may have a small hubcap to fit right over there;Honda S800 ?

Thats cool but to match the bike.  I have to make the cover myself.  Might make it look a like the comstars.

Red had a flat front tire. Nothing dramatic, i was just checking pressure at home and it was 15psi.

Turns out the new valve I installed when replacing the tire was leaking. I usually run NAPA 90426 valves in my Comstars, but this time I used a different type.  Luckily  the rear wheel and the sidecar wheel are still NAPA.   Tonight I dismounted the front tire and installed NAPA valve from my road kit.  Gotta buy more of those and toss all the new type valves.

My K4 front tire was totally flat last week. I mentioned it to my buddy and he said to check the valve with a little water after inflating. Sure enough, it had a leak. I removed the core and wet the ring, reinstalled and has been good since.  Guess it just dried up and leaked.

Thats a good tip, thank you.  Mine was leaking between the rim and the valve.  I use these to run tubeless tires on Comstars not intended to be tubeless. This was my first issue ever with this "illegal conversion".
