Thanks guys. The carbs are not completely sorted as it feels lean (though it was about 45F when my son did the video). I still have to put filters on the engine breather hoses....some other little stuff too. i happy to get the thing running and not have a single leak anywhere. :D That cam does have a very funky idle...got to say that.
To answer Jerry's question it doesn't feel much different than the 915 BUT it hasn't been over 6,000 and it is lean. It does feel very, very smooth (it should....everything was balanced).
I'll video it on the dyno but that won't be until spring.....than POPS can tell me if it sounds like a Z1R (an all time favorite bike of mine).

Hey Mike, it sounds as good as it looks! It did look like a close call, though, around 2:31 when your neighbor almost backed out in front of you! And no helmet... ???
There you go bro....thank God for taillights. I appreciate you seeing that. I live in the middle of no where and there is the car backing out, ;D I did see it. Next vid is on the dyno but it will not be until spring. Break it in right! Changed the oil after 3 miles...... ;D
Two things I can attest too. Mike does live somewhere outside of nowhere, my GPS could not find the place. He also has a great shop and I saw the quality he puts into his work!

very nice Mr. Reick
I guess I will have to do the same IF AND WHEN the dang wiring harness is finished
and I stop changing stuff. (New seat and I will have to cut the back half of the sub and extend it to accommodate.)
The CR Replica is just too damn uncomfortable to enjoy a nice ride and I do plan on ridding this when its done.

Mike can you send down the wiring diagram for the re-lay...........I want to do that also sense
we are re doing everything else in that department

Hope you guys had a great Thanks Giving

Jim

MRieck: Can't give you a ZIR but I got a 1982 LTD one owner COMPLETE that the owner took out the spark plugs and pulled the thread on 3 holes. Been sitting in my small building for the past years untouched, need to put title in my name and you could have for FREE with a little trade for some head work on a HONDAMATIC.  That brand NEW STAR PIPE in the box 4-1 sidewinder I have might fit that motor for that great 1000cc Kawasaki sound, I'll check with George.....
