My frame number is CB400F-1080280, would that make it a 1975 Australian bike?

Guys, I apologize for the late reply as I’m no longer receiving forum topic reply email notifications due to the ongoing SOHC website upgrades.

I did some checking and CMSNL shows 400F serial numbers that are nearly identical to my list in reply #4. I can’t explain why Honda did this, any thoughts?  ???

And these are serial numbers for 1975 only, or is it 1975-78?

Thanks for all the help with this. It appears my bike is a late 1975 400F.
