Hey folks.  I'm in Albuquerque, NM.  What dates are we talking about?
Approximately the end of April/ early May. If you think you can make it, please add your name to the sign-up list. NM has had a lack of participants in the past, so your contribution would be sincerely welcomed!  ;D

So my little 550 won't be ready by then unless I win the lottery.  I'll have my zrx ready though.  Maybe my dohc 750f?  Any of that matter to give Godzilla a ride?

Hello Gang,

Pat at APE here and I'm good for reptile transit from Rosamond towards the coast to meet up with Mooshie and then ride some north bound.  I'm free to ride Friday-Sunday but have to be back in time to work Monday early...  Or if it works out to be another direction I can help there also.  This year I want to tag along vs watching you all ride away.

Hi Pat:  wow we are getting quite a crowd this year from the Southern and Central California riders.  Finally.  Its going to be a nice ride with all these SOHC's rolling up the coast!  8)

Oops didn't see this post...change that from all these SOHC's to "a bunch of motorcycles rolling up the coast."
And nothing "little" about the 550- those are the best SOHC's  ;D  oh no those are fighting words! ;)
In the past only SOHC's could carry Godzilla (but all can ride along) I would assume it is the same this year....

Well, you are welcome to come with, but strictly speaking only an SOHC can carry the lizard. Of course, if it comes down to a choice between a DOHC Honda, or a brown box, the Honda trumps the box! ;D

I can make it out to Rosamond. Used to race there back in the day so would be cool to see the ole track.

Then ride with the group up to Santa Barbara or where ever is needed.

Lots of nice twistys between Rosamond and SB so we don't have to slab it too much.

Have you ever taken the road from Lebec to Cuyama? Some nice twistys there... ;)

I'm in for any directions. Suggested route from Rosamond to santa barbara -  bouquet canyon rd/126 all the way out to 101/1 Ventura/Santa Barbara.

My riding time is limited though and I think I can only tag along and watch you guys ride away.

Oh yea. All those roads up there, 33/166/58 some great riding.

The only thing I would add would be to jump off the 126 at the 150 and take that up and over. It only adds 7 miles to the route and it's a much nicer road then taking the 126 to the 101.

Just throwing it out there, I'm up for whatever the So.Ca. group wants to do.

I live just off of the 150 so can meet you there easy or I can ride and meet up on the 33 near Ojai or 150 near Ojai also then take back roads.  I am open to however the LA contingency wants to ride up North to get to the 1.  I know that Sal/Greenhornet loves to take out of the way roads (if I recall when we road back from Joshua tree in last years rally he and Triumph Dude took a road that led them into a bunch of packed snow  :o) glad I didn't follow him on that one

Lol.  Ok so my big 'ol badarse honkin 550 won't be ready by then...  looks like Zilla might have to brown box it across NM.    What if I get the 550 into a roller and pull it with my Rex?   jk....

Between proto in Deming and jcarthel in Lubbock, TX, we hopefully won't have to resort to a box for NM.  ;) You are more than welcome to ride along.

Is this trip section only Fatmatt and me?

Four days R.T. sounds about right to me.

Cheers,
What say you, NecroPsyChro, Geminimotors, Grumpy, and 74750k4? Who wants to ride south to meet and ride back with mooshie and green, and who wants to ride east with Matt and Two-Tired? Between the four of you, maybe you can provide support in both directions?

I might be able to head south.
I'm already 80mi south of S.F.

timing is key, though. work has been hell lately so getting time off could be an issue....

I hate my job  >:(

I put the stock bars back on my CB400F today (I don't want to spend 4 days hunched over on some cafe bars). I'd shortened everything to fit the drop bars perfectly so it wasn't as easy as it would've been. I'm riding it down to Hollister next week to get a "Gunfighter" type seat put on it at Corbin with my friend Ken (he bought the Antares Blue CB750F I rode in last years ride). If anyone in the Bay Area wants to come along, let me know. We're leaving from Pacifica on Tuesday morning(ish) the 19th, camping out nearby (or maybe getting a hotel, we'll see), hanging at Corbin the next day and riding the slab back that night.

I'm on a wait and see as far as my route. The wait part is I need to build this entire bike as it's just a frame right now. The see part is once I do get it back together and running is how reliable do I think it will be.

My intention is to ride out to Willow that I can say.
