Steve-o - I look forward to getting up there and meeting alla y'all. I have a son in Boerne who rides my old '82 CB450SC and a son in Austin who rode an '07 Gixxer 1000 who now rides a Victory Hammer. They too will be mixing with the group. I recall when these old SOHC 750 bikes came out that they seemed very complicated. Now they seem simple. Hi George!
'82 CB450SC daily driver, '73 CB750K being rebuilt (was Dad's), '73 CB750K cafe project, '74 CB750K Rat project, '74 CB750K ex-drag bike, '78 CB750F Rough project/parts, '68 Sears Sabre 50cc "light weight" motorcycle (running), '65 Rambler 2 door flat head six (in process), 108 year old house (always in process)

The rear swing arm needs a femur painted on it...

Who was the racer who wore a skeleton imprinted set of leathers on the front of his jacket?
John Entwhistle of "Who" had a skeleton suit. He got tired of being upstaged by Daltrey and Townsend.

It can be a very rough crowd, I learned that real fast when I asked about oil !!!Actually I'm here, busy putting on new rubber and an oil cooler and riding the damn thing !!I always now ride with a mirror shield, since the dipping I get way more attention, Harley riders seem to dig it but Easter Sunday I saw a church mother covering her small childs eyes !

Found this bike in completely stock condition in Feb. 08. Paid over twice what my new one cost 30 years ago. Am trying to re-create the look of the late 70's Drag Bike styling.More later. 4-2-10 It ain't stock any more and I have no idea what I am trying to create !

Remember the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia in the late 70's?  I say no, no, no...it's just awful.  At least there is no portrait of Pol Pot on the fuel door. :P  Really...that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw that. :(
Oh Boy do I remember Cambodia, as a young Airman in 1974 one of my more memorable life moments was flying over the Mekong near Stung Treng in a small Spotter taking photos and recieving small arms fire ! For some reason these aircraft were bright yellow , anyway we made it almost back into Thailand and the pilot did a great job of putting her down in a clearing very near some very nasty hills, we were picked up immediatly by an army chopper. No injuries except to my pants !

"Stung Treng" Lol..lol

Well I like it george right up my alley. I have been toying with the idea of trying to cast some aluminum covers for my 650 that have a skull on them. I have always been into the look but there are not many options for us.
