Really cool! I'm in negotiations now for a '75 Z1 900. All original. Not the correct seat cover, and looks to have a ding or two in the original muflers. Could use new tires. All else is there, including tool kit, manual, etc. How much is this worth?

As you prolly know. the Z1's have become highly collectable all over the world. I love mine and would never think of selling. As far as yours, being all original is a very good thing and desirable.  You dont mention running cond or mileage? I'll assume it is running with 20K miles, I would value it at around $7500. Maybe more if condition is above average.  Got pics?

Here's mine....

Hi Steve
Those early Z 900's are worth big bucks on this side of the planet.
Especially the really early brown and orange ones, they call em "jaffas" here, after the old orange colored and flavoured ,chocolate sweets that were popular at the time. Have seen em for sale well in excess of 20 grand straylian bucks. The bikes, not the sweets

Quick update on the H2:

I've put only a little over 300 miles on the bike since the restore but it has been trouble-free and so much fun to ride.  I havent ridden it this week since it's "Honda week" but I had to move it to get the Big Bang Bike out of the garage.  There is a noticeable weight difference between the H2 and CB750 when pushing them around,  just looked it up - 58lbs  [423 vs 481].  Obviously, the motor is 3 cyl but I bet the frame is lighter too! One day I would like to race the H2 against the 836 K4, should be pretty close?  Any volunteers to help me out?!

On another note, the H2 was voted BOTM for March, obviously I am very proud of that!

I think the weight advantage of the Kwacker would make it a winner if you can keep it on two wheels  ;)  Maybe you could roughly time out a couple of 0-80-90 or so MPH runs for comparison and let us know. With 300 miles the Kaw is getting pretty close to being broken in.

Sounds like fun either way  ;)  I would guess it's almost time for the H2 to be broken-in for top-end hard speed   :)

As much as I have in this motor, I'm in no hurry to blow it up! With Spring now here in Texas, the next 200 miles will go by pretty quick...pun intended!

Update:   Its been a little over two years since the H2 was totally restored.  It is easily one of my favorite bikes but had a minor issue that needed to be addressed.  There were tiny bits of black matter in the carb bowl and the petcock was leaking. Kinda have a love/hate relationship with that petcock! It is vacuum operated so no worries if you forget to turn it off, in fact, you cant turn it off! Thats what I hate.  A $30 rebuild kit and some new fuel lines and I am good to go!

The bike starts within 3 kicks, always the first kick when warm.  It just wants to scream and I am happy to run it through the gears!  And it will happily cruise too, it does this best between 3000 - 3500 RPM.

The H2 is just a pleasure to ride, and since we are in "Corona Stay Home" mode, I have ridden quite a few times in the last couple weeks.  It is very nimble in the tight curves and wow, the acceleration is a rush!

Let the good times roll!

Good onya Steve. Glad your getting it sorted. I just purchased a fuel tap kit for mine from the states but our piss weak dollar and GST
bumps it up to $100 delivered. The other problem is it mainly pumps air to the left cylinder.
Put a new seal kit in the pump and stato seals for the lines,   nothing, no change.
Got another pump that was tested and exactly the same thing. I'm convinced its the line thats leaking at the pump end.
Got to persevere with it cause I sort of love the thing.

Hey Ken...I hear ya, these old smokers can cause odd issues but when sorted give so much pleasure!
And gorgeous to look at, love your H1.

Embarrassed to say my H1 has been sitting on the lift for too long after it did not want to start, it is on the list to get resurrected.

Hey camna....believe there is approx 1750 miles since the motor was totally rebuilt.  Not a lot by any means, but with four ridable bikes currently in the garage, I take turns riding them all.
