Topic: Tire tube size?

I need some recommendations as far as what tube size to go with for my '72 CB 450. I have a set of Kenda K761's with a 110/80-18 for the rear and a 100/90-19 for the front.

Inner tubes are made for a range of tyre widths. Have alook at page 22 of this pdf.

I'm not looking for Michelin specific tubes because they cost a little too much. I found a tube for the front on Dime City's website but I don't know what size tube for the rear(110/80-18). I found a tire conversion website here:(http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php?tires=90-90r18-110-80r18) that basically is telling me the rear is 4.33in wide. Does that sound correct? And if so should I go with the 4.25-5.10 tube that DCC has? Seems too much on the larger side.

There are few threads on here about tube sizes that were helpful to me few weeks ago but unfortunately I did not save them. With a little search you should be able to find something quickly

Far too big IMO. One size down.
The pdf I posted was to give you an idea of the range of tyres one tube will serve.

I did look thoroughly at the pdf and Michelin has two different types: the MF and MG. Both of which have very different ranges. Anyways, should I be looking at a 3.25-4.10?

3.35-4.10 is ok for a tire that converts to 4.33 right?

I just bought a 100/90-19 tire this weekend, the guy at the store gave me a 3.25+ tube that fit perfectly. Too big and good luck getting the tire on the rim!

I ended up going with a 3.50-4.00-19 for the front and 3.50-4.00-18 for the rear.
