I think he's a little confused about the phrase "Like new condition".

Like new, except for the missing side cover, non-stock exhaust, ape-hangers paired with probably one of the most common affronts to decency ever inflicted on the beautiful CB750, a double-butt bucket.  
And these are just the obvious things picked up from a very small picture, plus, that's probably it's good side!

Perhaps he should have said, "good condition for it's age".  At least that statement is an opinion.  Something is either in "like new condition", or it's not.  This definitely is not.

 those things have got to be the worse thing to come out of the 70's!  Sad thing is every bike I find has one of them on it,  someplace someone is sitting on a mountain of stock seats laughing at morons scrambling around looking for a stock seat.

Yea, its sad.  Thats about as nice as they are around here. 
I really want a 100% (or near) stock CB, but it seems that every one has been screwed with. 

The worst part is the seller always thinks it is gold due to its age.

Hey now each to his own. I happen to like my but bucket and so dose the old lady LOL. No really we do. Wish I had the stock seat as could use the money from it about now. I know my bike dose not look stock, but it is for the most part, only bolt on's have been added besides the paint. Nothing hard to change but the paint.
