1st off, my Dad will be turning 88yrs old, this coming July 16th. Just doesn't seem possible! Before I say anything else, I want to give a Special Thank You, to ALL who gave us SO MUCH support, back when my (so called) brother and his wife tried to shove him in a nursing home and take all he had, for themselves. Besides the Huge amount of support I got from here, I also got some VERY valuable info as well. I got a HUGE education in that sort of thing REAL quick. Fortunately, they were put in THEIR place and out of business!
Dad has had some ups and downs, over the last few months. After loosing my Wife in July of '09 (again, Tons of Support, that REALLY set me back and I THANK YOU ALL For It), and then, in Jan of 2012, a Close Lady friend and I realized that instead of looking in 2 different directions, for a relationship, all we had to do was to look at each other. She was located in Georgia and so, I moved (or started the move) to Georgia and brought my Dad and my Daughter with me. I moved, because it seemed like the best thing to do. About 2 months ago, he started not wanting to get out of bed, eat or take his meds. And when he WOULD get up, he'd go spend periods of time, in the bathroom. Got to the point, that I got him checked out and he was hospitalized with a urinary trac infection. And since he was loosing weight and energy was going away, the hospital kept him for about a week and then he has received about a month of rehab and we are picking him up tomorrow. He Really has bounced back. He actually looks pretty good. I had no clue about that infection, as I have not been in a hospital, except for 3 E.R. visits over years and to visit and when my Daughter was born. Now my Dad, is like that old Timex Watch commercial "Takes A Licking And Keeps On Ticking".

So, guess that's about it, for now.
