yoshi exhaust in a 78
« on: June 19, 2013, 02:43:49 PM »
Is this a Yoshi exhaust or just an imposter?
Next question is 72-78 headers pretty much all interchange right? I know muffler cleareance is different and may conflict but basically spigots or studs have to be swapped most right?

While we are at it , can any of you identify the other exhaust>?

You will have to "double-nut" out the studs and convert to spigots to use that pipe

Correction: I might be wrong

The one in the first pic indeed looks like a later, machine bent yoshi pipe.  Is that tag on a sunken in portion of the tail, or just glued onto a round pipe?  Can you show a pic from above the first pipe?

No clue on the other one, but I like that it's got the Honda heat shield on there ;D

Those are motad pipes with shield. I have a set on my parts bike

Edit: never mind. Upon closer inspection, these look slightly different than my motad.
