In my opinion the real Canada Day occurs each year on Nov 7th since 1885, it was on that day that the terms of the provinces were met in that, two bands of steel bound them together forming one great nation, dependable and strong. Sir John A's dream was delivered with the nailing of the "Last Spike" in the great Canadian Pacific Railway at Craigelachie, BC.
Up until that day Victoria wasn't happy with the idea of one Dominion as the promises of a goods and services exchange with the east was non existent by any stretch of the imagination! The Railway also protected the Dominion from the infiltration of US into the uncharted wild area and resources of the west. But yes either way, either date.... Happy Canada Day!!!

For myself, high speed run on the GPz, then get stinko while listening to Goddo, Triumph, Rush, Stampeders, etc at ridiculous volume until daylight.

Almost as bad as the one I saw where you had to find the Irish girl, she was the color of the white sand and near invisible on the beach, no towel...
Thought the ",eh?" was an Ontario thing...

I must have missed Canada day. Might have been an excuse to tip a few beers, though. Have to make up for it on the fourth. And then Bastille day, too.

I'll run through "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" or "Seven Island Suite" on my Seagull guitar for ya. Dang, Canadians make good guitars! Seagull, Norman, Larrivee -- never played one I didn't like.
